After breakfast set off on the southwest bound road for QENP from Kampala. En-route stop at the equator, where you will experience being in two hemispheres at the same time, and even known your actual weight. Travel through Mbarara town, Bunyaruguru escarpment overlooking the rift valley and finally descend to Queen Elizabeth National Park, unfolding a stunning panoramic view of Lakes Edward and George and the game field plains. Then Enjoy an evining Game drive. Night at Mweya Lodge

Enjoy another Early game safari- back at your Hotel for Breakfast and Relax- cruise in boat on the kazinga channel, where you will be in contact with Hippos, Crocodiles, Buffalos, Elephants, lions and a wide range of brightly colored birds and other water antelopes. After Lunch Transfer to lake bunyonyi – Night at Overland Club

After Breakfast- walk on Lake Bunyonyi southwestern shores to view a number of villages in their setting. Here pygmies walk over the mountains from Rwanda to sell their produce at the market at hakekuba. Enjoy a canoes ride in the afternoon and Transfer to Bunagana in Congo DRC after lunch. Night at grand Hotel

Day 6: Gorilla Tracking Early morning,

Very early in the morning, you will depart in your safari car from Bunagana to the Virunga national park station where you will be briefed about the dos and don’ts while you are with the Gorillas. After the briefing, you proceed for the memorable adventure of gorilla tracking. This rather strenuous but un regrettable adventure will take you through thick and muddy environment, and may take you 2-6 hours to locate the amazing apes, depending on their movements. After a maximum period of one hour with the Gorillas, you descend to the headquarters where the driver will transfer you to Goma. The trekking is a demanding but rewarding experience- Night at Ihusi Hotel

After your breakfast- at 8.00am- you will move from the hotel, and do some shopping in the supermarket before transferring to Kibati Village where you start your hiking experience. Start the hiking and arrive at the top in the afternoon. This will take you 5-8hours, with enroute view of some animals and birds along the trail. Admire the lava lake all evening, before retiring in the tents on the rim of the giant crater high above the active lake. The climb up to and down from Nyiragongo is strenuous and often in hot conditions, but the path is relatively easy and not excessively steep. Overnight in Cabins at the top of the volcano.

Day 8: Back from the Volcano – Rwanda- Intore Dancers

After your picnic breakfast at the top of the volcano, at 7.00am- descend down to kibati village, which may take you 4-5 hours. Your driver will then transfer you to Gisenyi in Rwanda where you will be Entertained by Intore traditional Dancers- Night at Serena Hotel.

Day 9: Transfer to Butare in Rwanda- Kigali Genocide memorial.

After Breakfast- at 7.00am Transfer to Butare via Kigali the capital city of Rwanda where you will enjoy a short city tour and a Visit a the Genocide Memorial to learn and understand what happened in Rwanda in 1994 a year in which 1 million Tutsi were killed within 100 days. After Lunch proceed to Butare- Night at Ibis Hotel.

Day 10: Transfer to Nyungwe

After Break fast Visit the Rwandan Historical Museum which will provide you with a deeper insight into Rwandan history and culture and then begin our journey to Nyungwe Passing through magnificent hills and cultivated countryside – along the way you have the opportunity to see monkeys- arrive in Nyungwe forest- Take Lunch and Relax- Night at Gisakura or Peace Guest house.

Day 11: Early Morning track Chimpanzees in Nyungwe forest

The Nyungwe forest is spectacular and offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense with numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. Your guided walk in search of the chimps and other primates May last 2 Hours- back from the Forest at Lunch time. After lunch, Enjoy a walk around your Hotel.

Tanganyika At your arrival you will be transferred to the Hotel- Briefing- After Lunch we visit the Mausoleum of Prince Louis Rwagasore, a hero of the independence of Burundi. We then climb to the “Belvedere” on the top of the hill, a dominating point of Bujumbura, offering a unique view over Lake Tanganyika- Be Entertained by le ’’Les tambourinaires du Burundi’’ or Burundi Drummers. Day 13: Kalera Waterfalls and Burundi National Museum

After an early breakfast– Drive ten kilometers south to visit “la pierre de Stanley et Livingstone” the commemorating stone of the place where the famous explorers Stanley and Livingstone rested during their attempt to find the source of the Nile; After we drive toward the south to visit “Chutes de Kalera” or the spectacular “Kalera Falls”. In the afternoon we travel to Gitega to visit the Burundi National Museum before returning to your hotel for dinner and overnight in Bujumbura. Mid Hotel: Keza. Top: Club du Lac Tanganyika.
