You will have a chance to see abundant game in Queen Elizabeth park including; buffaloes, tree-climbing lions, leopards, warthogs and the ever present hippos and birds are everywhere on the kazinga channel connecting Lake Edward to Lake George. In the beautiful steeply forested Kyambura Gorge will see not only chimpanzees but also the red-tailed monkey, black and white colobus and many bird species.  While around Ishasha section you will search for the famous tree-climbing lions which rest up in the top branches of fig trees. Further south in Bwindi go gorilla tracking and see other primates, birds and butterflies before continuing to Mgahinga, which is part of the Virunga Conservation Area, for gorillas and breathtaking volcanoes.  Track gorillas again or climb a volcano, go birding, take in the breathtaking landscape or visit local Batwa animist communities.  Return to Kampala via Lake Mburo, one of Uganda’s most striking parks rich in birds, hippo, buffalo, and zebras.

Day One: Arrival

Day Two: Kampala – Murchison Falls Park

Take an early morning drive to Murchison Falls Conservation Area. Drive through Luwero, Nakasongola and branch off to Ziwa Rhino camp here you will track rhino in their habitats after over 30yrs extinction in Uganda. Their after proceed to Masindi, Lunch en route and later enter into Murchison falls park and check in at your lodge for an evening. O/N Paraa Safari Lodge or Murchison River Lodge (FB).

Day Three: Murchison Falls Game Park

The day starts with an early entry into Murchison falls Game Park with a game drive north of the River Nile. Here you will possibly see different bird species, hartebeests, elephants, Cape buffaloes, Roth’s child giraffes, waterbucks, Oribis, bushbucks, bohor reed bucks, hyenas and probably lions. Break for lunch and return for and afternoon launch cruise to the bottom of the spectacular falls as you view fauna in a closer range including hippos and Nile crocodiles. Climb to the top of the falls where you can see the Nile’s perfect gorgeousness, and sensation as it compresses and constrict for over a kilometre wide down through a 7-meter chasm.  Day Four: Budongo Forest

Track chimpanzees in Budongo forest. Tracking can be challenging to the unfit but at the end of the day coming to a close range with these relatives of human gives you a non forgettable experience. Day Five: Budongo Forest – Kibale forest park

Day Six: Kibale forest and Bigodi

Track the closest brothers of human in kibale forest the highly populated in the region, Kibale is a tropical rain forest with other primates like bush babies, baboons, black-and-white colobus, red-tailed monkey, and several bird species together with trees including the Elephant beer tree, all can be spotted on a nature walk in the forest. Day Seven: Kibale – Queen Elizabeth Park

Day Eight: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Set off early in morning for a game drive as you fabulous animals of the pearl, visit Katwe and buffaloes can never miss your sight here. Guinea fowls and other bird species, elephants, giraffes, and Kobs in their mating grounds can be viewed as there are chances seeing tree climbing lions on your rummage. After lunch take an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel as you view fauna at a closer range, hippos, other animals and several bird species will be seen as the get water to douse themselves. Day Nine: Queen Elizabeth Park– Bwindi Forest Park

Leave for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. We may drive via Ishasha, weather conditions permitting home of the tree-climbing lion – or drive through farmland to Buhoma. O/N: Buhoma Community Camps or Bwindi Engagi Lodge (FB).

Day Ten: Gorilla Tracking

Track gorillas after breakfast in the morning, this is the climax of the tour gorilla tracking can take 3 -9 hours on walking in the jungle before one returns to his/her accommodation, the jungle, precipitous landscape and rain may make the tour challenging but with a close encounter face-face with the largest primate of Africa is a remarkable experience you will ever have in life. Day Eleven: Village Walk

Day Twelve: Bwindi   Leave for Kisoro, stopping at Kanaba Gap to view the spectacular Virunga volcanoes and stunning terraced hills. Day Thirteen: Batwa trail

You will go for a forest walk guided by Batwa guide to explore the caves and experience the way of life of the Batwa pygmies. An entertainment evening with Batwa dance and drama would be a good experience. O/N Nkuringo Community Camp (FB).

Day Fourteen: Mgahinga Lake Mburo
After breakfast, leave for Lake Mburo Park, where you will go for a launch cruise on the lake and search for zebras, kobs, hippos and many bird species by the lake. In the evening take a night game drive on a safari vehicle wit spotlights searching for nocturnal like the leopard which you may have chances of seeing. Day Fifteen: Mburo Park – Kampala
Go for an early morning game drive and after return to Kampala via Masaka: look at royal drum makers, stop at the Equator for photo opportunities, and the roadside markets to enjoy some fruit and vegetables; lunch en route. Continue to Kampala arriving late afternoon, then transfer to the airport for your return flight back home.
